South Island

Gek and I together with our friend Joe toured the southern island for four weeks by car. Our visit was a year after the devastating Christchurch earth quake and as a consequence we did not get to see the city centre.

After Joe had left us for Singapore, Gek and I motored north and took the ferry across the straits from Picton to Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.
